Conduct Unbecoming
War of Wits ^ | 6/3/2007 | Jayme Evans

As always, I don't trust the US Senate enough to be truthful about their deliberations or intentions when it comes to illegal immigration, so I conducted my own research, watched hours of Senate debate, searched the congressional record, and read this bill cover to cover, inclusive of the various amendments.

Under this legislation the definition of a "guest worker" will include both skilled and unskilled laborers, as well as their wives and/or husbands and their minor children. Some Democrats are even claiming that's not enough...

This legislation also creates separate, protected categories of aliens. Anyone deemed to be from a country with an ongoing armed conflict or natural disaster can conceivably qualify to be an alien in "Temporary Protected Status", not subject to deportation. Even terrorists. Even if we decided it would be prudent to round up and deport large numbers of foreigners, all it would take is a small war, natural disaster, or petition by a foreign government, and we're stuck with these people.

This legislation allocates 400 million dollars for development of a new federal employment verification system. In total, the American taxpayers will cough up several billion dollars for increased infrastructure, security improvements, and enforcement mechanisms for the coming flood. Not only are they taking US jobs, they're demanding all the trappings of US citizenship, costing us billions in the process.

Finally, this legislation puts far to much authority in one person's hands, by giving the Secretary of Homeland Security almost unlimited discretion to waive any and all enforcement actions against illegal aliens.

It ends when the perps (so-called "Liberal" Democrats) are no-longer in control of the House and the Senate - and when we have a real conservative in Office who will defend America against all enemies foreign and domestic(personally, I'm leaning toward Fred Thompson).

“Any time John McCain and Ted Kennedy team up on anything, you know you’re in BIG trouble.”

And that McCain/Feingold “thing” worked so well, too. ;)

If the cops, judges and administrators can not ask your citizenship, just don’t tell them (as you speak in Spanish) and assume that they will give you the same sanctuary/amnesty as they give to others.

Hey my friend the immigrant and the illegal immigrant have been treated preferentially long before this bill was introduced.

This proposed legislation to resume debate on the Senate floor tomorrow; well the bill one could sum-up as the kick in the crotch, adding insult to injury.

Begin Monday to hammer the phones emails and faxes.
I have heard from several sources hand written letters are in order also.

GOD BLESS AMERICA we can save her or die trying!

The “Clinton/McCain Substantial Tax Reduction Bill” would naturally have the exact OPPOSITE effect of its original intent! *ROLLEYES*

Do you all think our President has made commitments to other nations at the expense of common everyday working Americans?

Has he put the Global economy before his private citizens’s interests?

“Has he put the Global economy before his private citizens’s interests?”

Well, Papa Bush is a Globalist. Always was. He wasn’t allowed to do much damage in one term, though.

It’s obvious that current President Bush leans that way as well. But, we voted him in. Twice. We only have ourselves to blame.

However, he has certainly set us up well to bring in a TRUE Republican (a dying breed) with America’s best interest at heart for 2008. I find that exciting, and I’m grateful for that. Every time a Republican campaigns on true Conservative values and ideas, s/he wins.

This fight has just begun and we need to let the congress hear twice as loud as recent weeks!
For the return of interior enforcement on a moderate scale and with steady progress in arresting employers

Border Security like never before no catch and release simply put enough personnel and technology to turn them around before they can physically enter.
