Voluntary Cultural Suicide.
Apparently some have decided that the purpose of Christianity is not to save souls, but to avoid offense.
I hope muslims aren’t offended by steeples, crosses, crucifixes, or the word “church.”

But I bet the mosque has low speakers for the five daily calls to prayer. Because nobody cares if the dhimmi are offended.

Right idea, wrong reason. Church bells nearly drove me batty in Sicily. And fire works. Churches are noisy. Mosques are not only noisy but offensive in their noise. Both should let the faithful get their own alarm clocks.
We should pay no attention to what offends barbarians.

Look at this video. It is the 1st church of the Middle East, in Nazareth, village where Jesus lived when he was youth.
The bells of the church “offended” muslims who put a little mosque in front of it. The scream of the muezzin covers now the bells, and the Christians of Nazareth live in scorn, fear and like second-class citizens :

Perhaps, but tell that to the Christians who fed lions and adorned crosses in Rome, yet maintained their faith none the less, and eventually conquered Roman paganism.

Look at all our leftist “Enemies From Within” have already accomplished: No prayer in school, no vouchers for religious schools, no Ten Commandments in state & federal buildings, removing “Under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance, removing “In God We Trust” from our money, and everything “offensive” that the ‘Freedom From Religion’ freaks in Wisconsin think up on a weekly basis.

That church in Nazareth is just beautiful, but BOY is Nazareth a swarming pit, disgusting and dirty, chaotic and filled with ROP members.

As a government, we certainly do. It is scary that even churches are starting to cave to this kind of thinking. This was a church that made the decision to "not offend" those of other faiths. I wish those other faiths would at least agree to not kill or injure Christians. I can handle a little "offense" once in a while.
In the future, when the majority of the population is Muslim, and they have their noisy "calls to prayer" at various times of the day, I wonder if they will afford the same courtesy to the remaining Christians in their midst.
