But this is the most interesting part of the article:
“Three years ago, Mexican soccer fans began shouting Osama! Osama! when the United States soccer team faced Mexico in an Olympic qualifying match. When Mexico won, the revelry was intense.”

Pardon the rant. I’m sick & tired of ingratitude. I’m sick and
tired of whiners. I’m sick & tired of activists (of all stripes.) I’m sick & tired of hearing about and from Muslims. They should all go back where they came from. I’m sick & tired of loud-mouth homosexuals. They should all go back into the closet. I’m sick & tired of the Federal government overstepping its Constitutional bounds and trying to take over
EVERYTHING. I’m sick and tired of Republicans acting like Dem*crats. I’m sick & tired of Dem*crats acting like socialists/communists. I’m just sick & tired of busybodies...SSZ

This was about immigration and so many things, said Nicolas Corte, 23, a student who was in the crowd when Miss Smith was booed in her Elvis outfit. She represented the United States and many people are thinking negative things about the country right now. So, like, why not just, you know, like stay in Mexico?

Good to keep this in perspective, though it seems like a rude effrontery. This was a competition and the audience viewed the results as unfair, home town girl etc. etc.
There are bigger fish to fry, like the immigration bill.

Mr. Corte and others said the complaints included arrogance by the Bush administration and frustration over American immigration policy, the war in Iraq and the historical grievances Mexico harbors against its neighbor. Hoo boy! "...arrogance by the Bush administration.." and "...the war in Iraq".
Funny how this sounds like the New York Times talking and not some 6th grade educated Mexican.

It seems like you should be booing your own contestant

Folks, that is the reason President Bush and the US government does what it does about Mexico. And what's that? Capitulate to them? That's the ticket. We really should be thinking about annexing the whole country.

Donald Trump must really be scraping the bottom of the barrel if he's staging the Miss Universe pageant in a Third World sh!t-hole.
By next year he'll probably be holding the stupid thing in Baghdad.

I completely agree, take over the whole country, but it’s not gonna happen. We are the good guys and we don’t do that.
We saved Europe from the Nazis we should have been paid back. Have you ever been to the art museums in Europe and England? They could have paid us back in paintings.

The people in this audience are exactly the kind of folks I want living in my town as my close neighbors.
The more the better.

Another argument against amnesty. Another argument for a high, well patrolled border fence. These people will never get over their inferiority complex. They are sick with envy. It’s madness to import people infected with the virus of race hatred and resentment.
