Newt still thinks he will announce after September.
At most, Newt would be a spoiler. He couldn’t win if he were the only one running, because of his baggage. And if he is that clueless, he is definitely not what the GOP needs at this time.
The most important thing Newt will be doing in the next few years is who he throws his 8-10% of the pubbie vote to that he will get at the convention. He's a think tank kinda guy always has been, always will be.
