I notice that Bill Kristol,this morning, and Fred Barnes, yesterday, both of the Weekly Standard are drawing back from supporting this immigration bill. Suddenly they think it is too complex and the danger of conferring legal residency on gang members and terrorists almost immediately upon the presidents signature.

This Bush-McCain-Kennedy Bill is going down.

Perhaps they both read the latest column by their FNC colleague Charles Krauthammer: It Doesn't Take Einstein to See What's Wrong with This Bill

Kristol says he is a “liberal” on immigration and has been highly critical of the amnesty bill especially the entire backroom process. He has been bashing it for weeks.
