I remember some years ago when Coca-Cola bought the Minute-Maid company, they also bought
12% of the land area of Belize for citrus groves to avoid the freezes that had plagued Minute-Maid in Florida.
It looks as if others may have done the same.

As I tried to negotiate the traffic on Biscayne Blvd.,yesterday, heading home from a dental appointment, I never considered that the City of Aventura (just south of Ives Dairy Road on US1) was part of the Mayan empire.
Hmmmmm.Where is that asshole Mel Gibson when you need him?

Aventura? Now that is really amazing—a Mayan city that existed more than a thousand years before Columbus sailed the ocean blue but had a Spanish name.
