IIRC, it was because Jerry Brown did something for troops/veterans in San Francisco. As the only Democrat in the area to do something supportive of the troops, Savage felt inclined to donate.
Eh, I don't personally care. I mean, if it was down to Lieberman or Hillary, who'd you donate to (strawman, I know, but that's the concept)? Still, half the time Savage just sounds like he's gone crazy. I think sometimes he thinks about the direction our country's headed in so deeply that he becomes uber-enraged.

Savage called for the resignation of Dennis Hastert during the height of election and the liberal media Foley fiasco. This showed me Savage's true liberal colors . If Hastert would have resigned then the Democrats would have won even bigger.
