NEW YORK -- According to NewsChannel4's Jonathan Dienst, sources said federal investigators have made arrests in an alleged terror plot on Kennedy Airport.
Law enforcement officials said the plot may involved a former airport worker.
A press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. this afternoon.
Thanks for posting that report. Switching to FNC now.
LOL!
You got me with that.
Your graphic was near the bottom. I jumped back, “How the the hell did that bug get in my monitor!”
3 arrested. 1 airport worker in NY. 2 others in Trinidad according to Fox
LOL.
All our money on a border fence? How many billions would it cost? I bet less than the $30 billion we are giving to fight AIDS in Africa or the $100 billion Iraq supplemental. Are you suggesting that we leave our borders the way they are, i.e., unsecured?
Three of the FT Dix six didn't get here legally. The Super bad guys like Atta overstayed their visas or disappeared. If we had a better system of tracking and deporting visa overstays, we wouldn't have these problems. This is also part of border security.

Illegals from terrorist nations are crossing the border into Arizona.
If you're a diabolical terrorist, capable of detonating suitcase nukes or destroying the WTC, you DO NOT risk being an undocumented flake. You merely get a legal tourist visa, fly into the country on American Airlines and check your suitcase nuke.
Nonsense. First of all, there is a security check on all visa applicants, i.e., the Lookout book. It is performed at all of our embssies and consulates abroad. The weakness is that we don't have better sharing of information among USG agencies. And some people can come here without visas. Aside from the weight and size of "suitcase nuke," checking it on an airlines would not be a simple or reliable way to get it here.
We need to improve the security of this country, whether it is border security, visa overstays, better intelligence, etc. It is not an either/or proposition. The idea that the super bad guys will always get in is defeatist nonsense.
heheheheheheheh :0)
I have to admit I borrowed it off another Freeper, but in my advanced case of CRS, I forgot who it was!
Part of being an adult is the ability to make interconnections between things learned in school, events happening in the world and personal experience.
By the time many people finish high school, the answer to most of those questions would be obvious.
So sadly true. Great post.
It would not surprise me if the airport worker imvolved is an illegal alien — from the Middle East.
I don’t know if it means anything, but a half a dozen fighters came screeming low over my house (New Haven CT area) at about 10:00am this morning.
A10’s, I think. Perhaps just ANG on training.
“..the plot may involved a former airport worker.”
Did they mention anything about his religious affiliation and country of origin?
So why blame futures traders?
Exactly!
And next: Bush Drops pants and proclaims “ Sure lets have yet another politically motivated Senate hearing into the incompetence of the people in my administration
but islamatards don’t want to hurt us, they’re a religion of peace. < /saracasm >
With respect,
Did you mean Islamiturds?
Either way, I can live with it.
The loss of fuel at one airport would have a minuscule effect on the supply/demand equation, but it would be used as an excuse to drive consumer prices higher.
The actual effect on supply/demand would most likely be a lessening of demand as potential air travelers changed their plans.
> Did they mention anything about his religious affiliation and country of origin?
So far, I heard “Trinidad”.
OK, we give EVERY FOREIGNER in this country 3 months to come forward and register with the government so that we know who is in this country and why there are here. Deportations can then begin with people that have no damn business being in this country. If not, then this politically correct corrupt pandering federal government is going to get us all killed.
Simply stating a fact, a consequence of the free-exchange private-enterprise system is not "blaming" anyone.
If blame needs to be assigned, I would start with the plotters.
The illegals among us.
Those who live among us who don't belong here and mean to do us harm.
