{{Why would they speak so insultingly, with such hostility, of opponents who are concerned citizens? And often, though not exclusively, concerned conservatives?” asks Noonan.}}
Easy. Beacause most of the base is “white” and they can get away with talking to us like that. They would never dream of insulting any of the “politically protected” groups by talking to them this way.
File it in the archives under "The Road to Civil War Two."
Thanks to the OBL Quisling traitors, who put power and greed above country.
U.S. Constitution, Article 4 Section 4:
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,
1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.
QUISLING: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.
LOL... You know? I’ve missed seeing you post that stuff...
What you will lose is the right to get Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson running on our side as opposed to Guiliani or some other hard core liberal. Unless you’re in an open primary state. In that case, go for it!
Why are you trying to lump those of us who oppose this illegal alien amnesty sellout with David Koresh and Timothy McVeigh?
Linda Chavez Foot In Mouth Episode.
And if there were any doubt whom Bush had in mind, his surrogate, Linda Chavez, cleared it up:
“Some people just don’t like Mexicans or anyone else from south of the border. They think Latinos are freeloaders and welfare cheats who are too lazy to learn English. They think Latinos have too many babies and that Latino kids will dumb down our schools. They think Latinos are dirty, diseased, indolent and more prone to criminal behavior. They think Latinos are just too different from us ever to become real Americans. ... “
KEWL KOMMENT! LINDA POO just created one of the more anti-Latino paragraphs I have ever read.
Lets take a moment to examine what the Lovely Linda said.
And if there were any doubt whom Bush had in mind, his surrogate, Linda Chavez, cleared it up:
“Some people just don’t like Mexicans or anyone else from south of the border.”
Linda, try to remember that some people can and do learn from experience. Most of the dislike you refer to is due to unhappy experiences with Latin America/Latin Americans. When you finally get around to removing your anti-America blinders, please notice that Americans are less prejudiced than most peoples.
“They think Latinos are freeloaders and welfare cheats who are too lazy to learn English.”
Linda, They are right.
1. All too many Latinos are on every welfare giveaway available to them, both legally and in many cases, fraudulently
2. Calling those who cheat the welfare system welfare cheats is truth, not racism.
3. Whether they are too lazy to learn English is not the issue.
4. The issue is that they havent learned English. Learning, not laziness, is the issue.
5. Using the anti-Latino race issue when it is not relevant discredits you, Linda.
“They think Latinos have too many babies and that Latino kids will dumb down our schools.”
School districts with Latino students all too often have the following:
1. Lower test scores.
2. Higher individual student violence levels.
3. Greater gang related violence and drug dealing on campus.
4. Far more pregnant and unmarried students.
“They think Latinos are dirty, diseased, indolent and more prone to criminal behavior.”
1. Neighborhood decline due to illegal immigrant presence is well documented.
2. Refusal to clean up ones home is indolent, Linda.
3. The Latin crime record is clear and undeniable to any but you, Linda.
“They think Latinos are just too different from us ever to become real Americans. ...”
There is ample historic data to support that belief, Linda. Latin America never had the same culture as America. Latinos were never able to benefit from being secure in person or property. They never asserted their Unalienable Rights as did we Americans.
Another thing, Linda have you ever noticed that in neighborhoods where Latinos are present, that they tend to place iron bars on all openings of their houses? That alone should tell you that Latino cultures do not have a tradition of respecting private property.
In Latino occupied areas, the American idea that one does not have to lock ones house, is no longer a workable idea.
In my opinion, arguably Linda Chavez has produced a valid list of reasons why we should not allow Latino immigration, legal or otherwise.
Was this her goal? Or did her dogma run over her karma?
I have no problem with legal immigration. They must come through the front door.

wonder where she got THAT impression?
Thanks. As stated I have been thinking about this move for the last six months or so. This amnesty bill plus what I have actually seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears here in Los Angeles motivated me to act.(I have actually been told by a Mexican lawyerette “We are taking over here!”) I hope resignations from the party will help the “Grand Old Party” turn back to a pro America stance rather than cosmopolitanism. Time will tell.
They must come through the front door and assimilate. Not try to turn us into the country they're running from.
And if rebellion doesn’t work, especially re: the SHAMnesty bill, then there’s the other “r” that could come into play. Riots!!!!
Wanted: True conservative, respectful, patriotic, moral, intelligent leaders to vote for.
“It’s almost “domestic enemies” time, I’d say. What are the alternatives, when we are being railroaded out of our national legacy by traitors?”
I wonder if this isn’t tucked away in the 1000 page Amnesty Bill? Anyone read through it enough to know, cause she’s intent on seeing it added somewhere to something:
“Sinema takes on the Minutemen
03/10/2006 12:20 AM
In this week’s Phoenix New Times, the news column called “The Bird” goes on and on about how state Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Phoenix, has introduced a great bill to crack down on the Minuteman Project and any other civilian border patrol groups.
Of course, “The Bird” stresses “that the Phoenix lefty’s bill hasn’t a snowball’s chance in the Sonoran Desert of becoming law.”
That’s an unfortunate consequence of belonging to the Legislature’s minority party. Majority Republicans rarely allow Democrat-sponsored bills to get very far. In the event a Republican shares or appreciates a Democrat’s idea, he or she usually introduces a GOP version of the bill.
And sure enough, Sinema’s House Bill 2848, which would outlaw armed border civilian patrol groups and classify them as “domestic terrorists,” never even got a committee hearing.
Still, Plugged In was intrigued enough by the longshot legislation that we contacted Sinema about it.
Despite the nearly impossible odds, she writes in an e-mail that she’s not giving up:
“I attempted to amend it to another bill (during floor debate Wednesday), HB 2582, but after quite a bit of lively debate and discussion, my motion failed.
“I will attempt to amend this bill to other germane bills as the session proceeds, as I believe that this issue is one of great importance. Vigilante action is very dangerous and leads to dangerous and sometimes tragic results. Our country has always opposed vigilantism, and we should continue to do so.
“In fact, the Arizona Constitution states in Article 2, Section 26 that ‘The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself or the state shall not be impaired, but nothing in this section shall be construed as authorizing individuals or corporations to organize, maintain, or employ an armed body of men.’
“So this bill is in keeping with our country and state’s commitment to the orderly rule of law.”
We’ve got to agree with New Times on at least one point. In the current anti-immigrant climate at the State Capitol, Sinema’s principled stand does take guts.”
I'm sick and tired of these liars and racists accusing us of disliking ALL Latinos. There are TWO groups of Latinos now in America. Latino Americans who have assimilated into our culture and are contributing to our society, and illegals. Latinos who are American citizens are decent people and are NOT the ones we are angry about. It's the Latino illegals.
elPresidente Boosh and his followers are causing much of the anger we are feeling toward illegals, because they are calling us racists and bigots. Making statements like Chavez just made only fuel the fire and could not be further from the truth.
It's NOT now, nor has it EVER been because we dislike or hate Latinos, but traitors like Boosh and Lindsey Graham are causing such animosity between illegals and citizens that it will cause much racial strife and many race riots in the future. This is why Boosh, Graham, Specter, Kennedy, et al need to be impeached and tried as traitors for crimes they have/are committing against American citizens!
Good question. Is it another form of intimidation, degradation and humilitation via name-calling. I think it was Hitler who by degrading and intimidating the Jews, making them a "less desirable popultaion" which eased the way to disposing of them. Hitler used stages of degradation (a very useful tool) to bring about his goals.
I want my two votes for Mr. Bush back. At least with a Dem, you know you are getting a dirty, rotten Son of a Bitch...
I resent your implications. It is the duty of all citizens to hold the governments’s feet to the fire.
Amen! ;-)
LOL! That is hilarious, and oh-so true!
