Poor Tony Snow, having to carry water for Bush in this fiasco. Snow should publically resign over having to speak out in support of the immigration bill

Check again. Snow was pro-illegals, pro-open borders, pro-globalism even on his radio program. His position fits that of the WH snugly. Several times he did the handwringing 'there are too many of them for us to do anything about; we can't deport them all; we need them to pick lettuce'; etc., as he made reference to the opposition having 'hair on fire', 'pants on fire', being 'in the tall grass', xenophobes, nativists, etc.

Poor Tony is on the same page as the White House on this issue.

Sigh. I assumed rationality. Always a bad assumption when dealing with your man.

For some reason, I remember Rush Limbaugh saying that he was paid a visit from the White House very early on in Bush's
first term, to convince him to support whatever Bush originally had in mind in terms of illegals.
(like, somebody showing up at the front door of his house...)

So, early co-opting of Snow is no surprise.

I use to like Snow. But I decided a while back that I won't be watching or listening to him any more when he goes back
to the dreaded private sector.

Heck, I don't bother listening to him now.

Probably had something to do with the night of the 2006 elections about him saying "Now the president has a
congress he can work with on illegal aliens, er, "undocumented" "immigrants".
