My Rep. in Congress. Guess who I vote for every 2 years!
“Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., a presidential candidate and strong opponent of illegal immigration said “The president is so desperate for a legacy and a domestic-policy win that he is willing to sell out the American people and our national security.”

Why do we put suits in a Garment Bag, and put Garments in a Suitcase?

Rush used to be much more of a cheerleader up to the 2006 election. He has been very, very good on the illegal amnesty bill.

Gutta love tancredo! He’s been on local radio here, does a good job but for some reason when he gets in front of a crowd he doesn’t come across very well........

Politicians, like diapers, have to be changed frequently - and for the very same reason.

If you get time, thank Sen. Wayne Allard of Colorado for being on the right side. He is retiring in 2008, though.
The other Colorado one, Senatewhore Salazar is a co-sponsor.

Savage says he knows Rush isn’t still shilling for Bush as far as this immigration bill goes so I guess he must listen to him, however he doesn’t sound like he listens to Hannity.

Yes, Tancredo is a patriot and a clarion voice on illegal immigration. It is unikely that he will be the nominee but is he is doing this country a great service but highlighting this issue by his very presence during his campaign and debate appearances. He is clearly someone not in politics for the money and deeply believes in this issue which is why he has been a pariah in the Bush White House for 7 years.
Anyone hear from Cheney on this issue ? I can’t believe that deep inside he does not support amnesty even though he may stay silent or give it lip service to support the president.

That is an ominous sign for 2008, if Colorado goes blue, the math for the GOP will not work. If this amnesty bill goes through, I am afraid our nightmare will come true: we will have to listen to President Hillary Clinton. Amnesty will an albatross around the neck of the GOP nominee that will sink him despite Hillary’s polarizing influence. The base will just sit out 2008.

Cheney is completely silent on this amnesty subject, well, at least I haven’t heard/read a word from him anywhere on the subject.
