1. the first part is an odd one, distancing himself from his own decisions to not enforce borders.
2. Though revealing as in "1.", I think he meant to say, "Some say" at first. Some say "broken" means no enforcement. He redefines "broken" to be the fact there is not complete labor mobility across the border, though he still carries a sense of shame, fantasizing that the illegals are only doing the jobs "Americans" won't do.
It's all very odd.
SE Mom, I can't read or listen to anymore for our leaders imperial rulers. I now truly feel that are purposely out to destroy my beloved Republic.
We know what our Founders would do if they were alive today to face this assault on our Liberty, our Prosperity and our Happiness. I am absolutely dumbfounded at the actions of our rulers.
