The office person told me that there are quite few other Repub congressman planning to vote for a amnesty bill !So dont believe thing from the media about the bill being killed by Nancy and The House ! She said to warn everyone and call call call.

NP..I replied to a ping, not from your comment on the thread...I then saw your retraction. I often wish there were an “edit” function for my posts.

I read in a news report that both Isakson and Chambliss are now saying they might not vote for this bill unless...blah blah. I hear they were both boo’d of the stage at some convention they went to. Also, I can tell you Chambliss was just ripped apart when he was on talk radio morning show-I can’t remember if it was Boortz or Laura-but it was brutal.

I have called all the key senators . Who do we call in the House ? My rep hates the bill and had a heated argument with La Raza Mel Martinez and has sponsored a bill to poison pill the senate version. But , the house is friendly towards a amnesty too .

Like I said earlier the DC office is still peddling the Rovian talking points about we need to do something .
The Atlanta office staff hate the bill .
Its ODD!

Kind of strange...maybe the good Sen. has been home long enough to understand he will lose the next election if he supports this bill, but hasn’t yet spoken with the DC office.

Bastards are working for foreign nationals. This is spinning out of control with traitors running the table.

IMO, the “in your face” arrogance being exhibited by the US Congress by their support of the current “amnesty bill” is reprehensible and further proof that the voters of this country need to vote them all out of office at the first opportunity. If not, America, as we know it, will be sold down the river and our children and grandchildren’s futures will be destroyed.

These stupid Rhinos don’t realize that Reid has set up them all for the 2008 senate elections .
The Dems are going to run people who are anti- amnesty
and want to repeal this law . Its a great strategy and Karl Rove and Bush know it and could care less !The Bush family have some sort of financial or power stake in all of this .

I think you are absolutely correct. However, I do believe Bush himself is absolutely convinced he is doing the right thing-deluded I’d say. I believe the political operatives in the White House know better and are merely attempting to give their big donors cheap labor.

I would try to get hold of John Boehner’s office and ask if they had any suggestions on who to call, since your rep is already against it.
