makes me all warm and fuzzy knowing that today, paying over a half a hundo for a tank of gas in inflated adjusted dollars, is better than paying 20 bucks a tank in the 80’s.

How much were you making an hour in the 80s? ;-)

Let me answer this way...my salary isn’t double what it
was in the 80’s.

I have no problems with the price of gas. It is what it is.

I have problems with someone trying to rosy it up by telling how much cheaper it is today, adjusted for inflation.

I don’t think that is a fair analysis of the price issue, but it made me think back. I am making a little more than 10 times what I made back in 1981. I would hate to pay ten times those prices today
