One of the worst consequences of illegal immigration is the crime some immigrants perpetrate. Illegal alien gang members commit violence across the country -- even in places like Boise and Omaha. They seep into the country, creating cross-state connections rooted in nearly unbreakable, blood-bathed bonds. The statistics show that it’s a huge problem in California and several southwestern states. Now, Congress and President Bush are preparing to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants without providing adequate safeguards against that amnesty being granted to gang-bangers such as MS-13 members.

I wonder about these people like Medved. I used to think they were misguided. Now, I think their anti-American stands are purposeful and calculated. They could care less about the collateral damage (i.e. us commoners being affected, maimed, and killed by the invaders).
Could be, but I doubt it. In Medved's case I think it's just plain old Bushbotism and his unfailing allegiance to the GOP establishment. I'd bet hard cash that if the President's plan involved tough border defense and deportations instead of amnesty Medved would be enthusiastically supporting it. He's just an establishment loyalist with transnationalist leanings. .....and a particularly obnoxious one at that.

He’s as intolerant of conservatives who are against this bill and any type of pass for criminal behavior as Bush was recently. Bush insulted the conservative Americans who put him in office and have been defending him for 7 years by saying we don’t care about what’s best for America.
Just like liberals, you see, they know what’s best. They see no need in rationally discussing and debating the issues with those who disagree with them, so they just insult us and ignore our argument.
The background check is a big load of BS. The FBI took 6 MONTHS to complete my clearance. And that required interviewing EVERYBODY that ever knew me. They don’t have the manpower to do that in 24 hours for one guy. It’s all a big lie wrapped in roses. Those dossiers are thick and exhaustive.
They have 3,000 employees to check 20 million crooks....
you would need 50,000 employees, and a year to make this work at all.....kinda reminds you of the handful of Border Patrolwe have, instead of an army which we need.
I say pardon one, pardon all. Give pardons and amnesty to Martha Stewart, Scooter Libby, agents Ramos and Compean, and Deputy Hernandez. What is this crap of giving blanket pardons to non citizens?
They won't use it against the gang bangers but if Chucky Schummer gets his way, it's going to be used against gun owners. It's in his legislation!
