Listen to Laura Ingraham read the riot act to President Bush over his many betrayals, especially his back-stabbing over illegal immigration. This is a must-listen!
She sure knows how to call a spade a spade!
I agree with most of his policies. The Wall that was never built pi$$es me off.
I listen to Laura every day. Personally I think she’s one of the best on talk radio.
Is this Free Republic? Is there a "freaking hyperbole" alert? Or an "I desperately need a reality check" alert?
The usefulness of debate is proportional to the management of the passions of the participants.
Bumped for later listening.
Is there anything Ingraham said that you disagree with?
same same
I love Laura, that babe has more gonads than President Bush ever had.
The only time I don't like listening to her is when she's interviewing someone she doesn't like or disagrees with. Then, she's like a female Chrissy Mathews, asking rapid fire questions and cutting off the person before they've had a chance to answer.
But, she's definitely right on this one. I still support Bush on fighting terrorism in Iraq and elsewhere, but otherwise, he's lost me.
Excellent!!! Right on Laura!!
I agreed with everything she said.
The President just dissed everyone who voted for him.
First the Shamnesty and then we will become part of the Mexican ,Canadian ,American ,alliance that Henry Kissinger is selling.
We are about to become the Country that used to be the United States of America.
“Bumped for later listening.”
Me, too.
Ok...enough is freaking enough.
Is this the DU?
Betrayal?
Backstabbing?
Come On!!! Get fricking real people. Everything he had done (with the possible exception of the mystifying Harriet Miers fiasco and the Dubai Ports idiocy)Bush has plainly spoken about his plans and the policies he intended to pursue for years and years....since 1999 at the earliest!
Call him too stubborn to a fault? Yeah I could agree with that. Say he is single minded? I could buy into that argument a bit. But to gush the words betrayal and backstabbing is exactly the kind of useless rhetoric I would expect to see from our ever so eloquent friends at Moveon.org and the DU.

To attack (someone) unfairly, especially in an underhand, deceitful manner: “Some backstab each other and threaten to settle their differences with a punch” (Thomas Boswell).
OTHER FORMS:
backstabber (Noun)
How can he lead you astray, be accused of betraying his country, or claim that he’s attacked you unfairly when he’s been up front with all of his plans and polcies for years? Immigration reform ala Bush is not a new concept! Now if you were discussing his shameful supervision over the growth in cost and scope of the federal government - the betrayal part might be a little more accurate - only a little. But as with everything else we must hold Bush AND a republican congress accountable for all that’s happened with respect to government expansion.
I consider congrssional betrayal much more pronounced, especially when discussing NCLB, prescription drugs, and the insane free speech disaster known as McCain-Feingold.
Bush IS failing us, he IS delibertely not seeing the log in his eye, he IS plainly putting his free trade agenda ahead of national security, but he’s NOT backstabbing us and he’s NOT betraying us. To feel betrayed you would have to utterly ignore everything the man has been saying since 1999. To feel backstabbed you would have to clearly have not paid even the minimal amount of scant attention to every SOTU speech he’s made since being in office.
Laura was right to let Bush have it, Rush as been as well, Hannity has, Levin has, Beck has, the Weiner even has said a few things, but let’s get over the whole notion that we are shocked...we have more to do than act and sound like victims...we have alot more to do than react and whine like liberals.
I just finished listening to the audio.
Towards the end, when Bush was talking about Gonzales,he sounded as if he was either having a stroke or had been drinking. The effect was pronounced by slowing down the
audio segment. His speech was halted and somewhat slurred.
Kinda scary.
Wow, she really reamed Jorge a new one.....good!
Jorge’s legacy is going to be one of betrayal for conservatives, and one of complete idiocy and incompetence for liberals.
There ya go Jorge.....you and your buddy BJ can enjoy your legacy’s together, while America tries to pick up the pieces of your disasterous administrations.
Thank you! Actually I'm sick and tired of betrayals and backstabbing of Bush by so called conservatives, the single issue fanatics who helped elect a Dem Congress and now seem determined to put a Dem in the White House.
Talk about Sorelosermen!
Listen to the Ingraham clip, hear what Bush said about people who object to the amnesty deal (or whatever you want to call it), and then tell me why he saved his harshest rhetoric for his own base and walked on eggshells when it came to the Democrats' endless investigations of Alberto Gonzales. Tell me what THAT'S doing to help the GOP win in 2008!
He took a VOW to uphold the law and defend the Constitution.
He has done everything possible to AVOID that.
He is a treasonous backstabber.
