Well, MS re-elected this spineless weasel last year, so theyre partially responsible for this.
I’ll take partial blame this if you will take
partial blame for “McCain\Feingold.”
Deal?

A temporary worker program would require workers to go home after two years and re-register.Wow, talk about distorting the facts. The "touchback" has nothing to do with the 12 to 50 million illegals here now -- they don't have to go anywhere to get a lifetime pass for the gravy train.

LOL!
I once said that I would never speak ill of him because he helped a friend of mine.
He’s gone too far this time.

Something stinks regarding all these politicians supporting those who broke the law by illegally coming across the border.
Either Lott and other politicians are now representing the illegals or they are getting graft under the table.
Why else would Lott and other politicians be trying to steamroll amnesty for millions illegals?

If Haley doesn’t want to run for President,
I hope he’ll run for Lott’s seat.

I would love to know where the 2/3rds support number comes from... From the illegals who will be made legal, and the tens of millions that will follow in their wake. Lott is tired of keeping his independent minded MS constituents happy, better to import new constituents beholden to him.

I hope hell run for Lotts seat.
I don’t see Haley running for the Senate
under any circumstances.
But I see a big door opening for (our) Mike Moore.

‘Ol Trent got a severe kick in the crotch several years ago, and would say anything he thought “the polls” indicated so he could regain his lost senate leadership role. Not smart. Bush “threw him under the bus” then, and Bush will do it again, given the chance no matter what Trent says about the immigration bill.

Lott says it would be impossible to locate and deport all the illegal aliens already in the U.S. Mexico got them to leave. Why can't we?
Gee there must be millions of smokers in the US. We better give up the War on Smokers.

Good point and excellent observation.

Well, I'm going to have to revive my slogan for Lott, back when he was Majority Leader and then Minority Leader:
Lott delendra estI'll drink a gin and tonic on the day Lott leaves office. He's destructive (to America).

That probably requires very careful wording to get that type of response. Something along the lines of "would you be willing to accept a plan that would allow some immigrants to stay here if the border were completely secured, complete background checks were done on the immigrants and they had to pay thousands of dollars of fines?" Look for an undefined number (some) instead of 12-20 million, confusion over immigrants vs. illegal aliens, and a big assumption that the border would be closed.

I want to know what the gov't will do with the $5,000 "fines."
What line of hogwash is being laid out there? (Like they'll really ever collect it.)
