You know, it must be pretty embarrassing to work that phone bank. Imagine the nasty stuff that nice Republicans voters say to them on the phone every day. It would have to be pretty appalling work.

My latest line is simply:

“I simply can’t talk now, I’m right in the middle of something.”

And it’s been so busy that it’s been true. I hate it when that explanation isn’t immediately met with an ended phone call.

The truth is that I NEVER give money to anyone who contacts me whether by phone, email, etc.
