There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens. "Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

I’m not sure that creeping socialism that is occuring outside of the political arena hasn’t already ruined America....glad you are an optimist
;-)
Thanks. I wish I was wrong. :-(
Given the government's record of enforcing existing immigration laws, I see no reason why we should accept the amnesty of criminals and the harassment of citizens in exchange for more promises that aren't going to be kept anyway. You seem to think we should "give", so we can "get" more empty promises. I've seen no such offer that's even remotely worth taking.
Excellent comments, Jeff.
I’ve been here since the thread started. Off to bed. Got to go earn some tax money tomorrow so I can pay for the health and education of my new illegal, tax cheat, voter fraud, identity stealing, brothers.
Doesn`t your story kinda prove my horse hockey point. You left the kitchen and started a business. How many Anglos applied for your job?
Bahaahaha!
Thanks for the word on Huckabee-I didn’t know that. Laura is in a class by herself and I have also seen her on the O’Reilly Factor. She is an asset to talk radio!!
Compromise?
Shall we compromise our free elections?
Haven't you seen the results of compromise and out right corruption?
Years ago, those in California held a free election, Prop 187. It would have denied most all tax paid benefits to illegals. The Californians won this election overwhelmingly. Then the state government, working directly in concert with the Federal government burned their ballots and declared their free election illegal. This was historic and horrific.
The corporations and business owners that wanted the dirt cheap labor were funding these politicians campaigns. They wanted nothing to do with this. The dirty corrupt fix was in.
Since then what has happened? Millions fled the state only to find the same thing happening where they fled to.
Unfortunately, the results of what occurred in California can now be seen just about everywhere in America now.
The politicians like then and now, are not representing the American people. They are only representing the business and corporation owners that demand low wage labor and higher profits, regardless of consequences.
And you suggest we compromise?
I think not.
In the entire INS/ICE queue there aren't enough people who would be happy to pick strawberries? I guess I find that hard to believe, but even if it's true I'm sure that could change if the INS/ICE didn't insist upon making life worse for legal applicants than for criminal invaders.
My point is that if these illegals were gone, I would be there in a heartbeat. I loved that job. It had benefits and retirement stuff with it, besides being fun. But I refused to be a pack mule.
How many others are out there, not working (like me they may not *have* to) who would take the jobs if they didn’t have to fight their co-workers who are trying to sabotage them.
Sure, if you drive workers out of the force, you need someone, but isn’t this a “chicken or egg” situation?
Believe me....you don’t want Mike Huckabee. I’m in AR and its Duncan Hunter or Tancredo for me.
We know the problems, they aren`t a secret. The question is what to do and how are we going to get Congress to agree? (they authorize and fund) Until that happens, we are back to the Tancredo Plan, NOTHING.
Thanks, now, how do I get all these arrows out?
Compared with the current proposal, how is that a bad thing?
you know this is funny that it came up. I just emailed the chairman@gop.com mailbox yesterday and said no more money for them until they got this right
Then i donated 0.00 and used an card that i knew would be declined so they got the record of the charge amount i was attempting to enter. Scr3w them.
I wonder (thinking out loud) if we all did it would they have to pay the gateway fee on each failed charge. .50 would add up very quickly
No! He has gone too far.
No! He has gone too far.
This is the BEST post yet!!!!!!!
