It’s a sad day when politicians sell out their constituency to special interest politics.
I still predict that Fred Thompson's anti-immigration stance will propel him into the POTUS should the RINOS go ahead with this insane shamnesty bill.
Funny in a way but when the money dries up all these so called patriotic politicians run for cover and flip flop like a beached fish.

That way they know exactly why you’re angry. I’ve sent two Bush pesos to the National Republican Congressional Committee in the last day and a half. Today I just received a presidential birthday solicitation from the RNC with an enclosed card to the Bushes I can fill out and a postage paid return envelope. I intend to use that card and envelope tomorrow to send appropriate birthday greetings accompanied by a Bush peso.

No. I think the ‘rats took over the RNC or something.
I just moved to a new state — NC — and registered to vote when I got my driver’s license. For the first time, I did NOT register as a republican; rather I am now officially “unaffiliated”. Too many sell-outs, compromises, and outright betrayals for me to support the GOP as a national party any more. I would imagine there are many, many of me out there.

Here’s one more.
They (phone solicitor) really made me mad, mad, mad the other day ... got a solicitation call for funds. I explained that my husband is undergoing chemotherapy/radiation for esophageal cancer and that we did not have the extra funds to assist but thank you for calling. The guy would not let it go ... generally solicitors extend they wishes for a speedy recovery and hang up but this guy insisted that if we can make a donation of 75 maybe we could make one of 50, I said no, he went to 25, I said no we are not interested in contributing and then finally he asked for 10 and I said remove us from the call list and hung up.
That is so wrong.
