They (phone solicitor) really made me mad, mad, mad the other day ... got a solicitation call for funds. I explained that my husband is undergoing chemotherapy/radiation for esophageal cancer and that we did not have the extra funds to assist but thank you for calling. The guy would not let it go ... generally solicitors extend they wishes for a speedy recovery and hang up but this guy insisted that if we can make a donation of 75 maybe we could make one of 50, I said no, he went to 25, I said no we are not interested in contributing and then finally he asked for 10 and I said remove us from the call list and hung up.

Before I actually spend some time and do some research and find out, do the fundraisers for the GOP actually work for the GOP as volunteers or paid workers for the GOP? Or are they third party fundraisers who get paid on commission? Does the GOP outsource their fundraising?
