RNC Fires Phone Solicitors [former donors outraged over amnesty]

There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens. "Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

Bush, addressing a group of illegals at the border, "Y'all just follow me to the promised land!"

“Gee I hope that didn’t sound too harsh”

I usually use “Kiss my A**, and get a real job.” The same as I use on every other annoying telemarketer.

I was living in kommifornia and saw the state change into a third world toilet just like the place these invaders came from

We have a place in the Lakes Basin region of the Sierra Nevada. A ranger at the local swimming hole was saying that it's gotten worse now that the "Reno crowd" discovered the area.

I read this late, but the reason the NRC closed their office is probably because the task of telemarketing is outsourced. I had applied at Strategic Telecommunications a couple of years ago but accepted a position somewhere else. When I thought about it, I probably couldn’t justify raising money for a republican like Specter since I vote pro-life.

Voting for the Republican is a very small fraction of what the base normally does. How many members of the base will feel motivated to donate time and treasure toward getting a Giuliani elected?

Rooty is their chosen advancement boy.

Its your security, kind of a browbeating to vote for Rooty , the socialist, or else you get Hillary, the socialist.

Both paths lead to the same latrine.

You just get a choice on what path you choose to take to the outhouse.

How very intelligent. We read this krap all the time on FReep. Why don’t you give us some solid reasons instead of just asserting that Rudy is no better than Hillary?

“I don’t trust any of them anymore.”

How easy. How important it must make you feel. How convenient to feel freed of any obligation to make a choice. Well, any responsible person will still need to make one. You’ll have to decide whom you distrust least. Kind of like in the rest of life, ya know?

Change your party registration from Republican to decline to state. Sometimes one must get anothers attention by grabbing them by the throat.

May the GOP - RIP.

No base, no party.

Let the House and Senate cesspool rot in Democrat corruption.

My vote is useless.

We will need to start a new Currency.

The Dollar Bill is starting to resemble toilet paper.

After Amnesty is passed, the printing press will go into High gear to pay the welfare and SS benefits.

These new immigrants and our welfare class are going to riot when they are handed toilet paper currency.

Actually, it makes me feel unimportant, since my vote is important to me, it makes it a difficult choice when I would rather be voting for someone that I can trust, rather than voting against the one that will likely do the most damage.

I am not freed of the obligation to make a choice, and I certainly will, but I’m only saying that I hear good things from candidates, but I don’t see the implementation of those ideas once they have my vote.

I would rather feel good about government that mistrustful. But you are right...it is kind of like the rest of life.

Never have understood how insults persuade folks, but, I`m a proud idiot. When you have a moment, could you explain how not doing anything is helping reverse this problem.

If you perceive being called "Clintonian" as an insult, then perhaps there's still some hope for you. Other than that, you've not seen any insults from me.

As far as "not doing anything" goes, I just have to wonder why you define "doing something" as writing new laws, when the ones we already have are being ignored. Is it the voters who are ignoring immigration laws on the books right now? No, it's not the voters, and to suggest that it is, is the height of spin. And, yes, it is Clintonian. If that leaves you in a huff, so be it.

While you are educating me, just how many illegals were turned back by the Tancredo Immigration Law of 2006? (oh, bet I`m going to get called another bad name, no answer though)

You seem to want to get a lot of mileage out of fiction, neverhillorat. A lack of enforcement has been the problem all along, hasn't it? It's not the law that's the problem. The problem is in ignoring the law. Illegal immigrants ignore the law. Business people who just want bottom dollar, cheap labor ignore the law. And, most amazingly, lawmakers ignore the law, while wanting to layer on some thousand page boondoggle that actually rewards lawbreaking.
