Actually what he said was, "I did NOT have sex with that busty, bleached, blond," but he was muttering to himself except for the word NOT..

God I can not believe I am sticking up for a stinkin’ Yankee, but...John Gibbons is using the oldest and most used definition of “bush league” - tricks we are stupid enough to fall for.

>>desperation
In other desperation move news, their almost-45-year-old,
$28million/yr (more like $18million in reality?) pitcher
starts vs. the Sox in a few days.
...the White Sox, that is. The Rocket man...

Yeah, Gay Rod. You and your metrosexual pinstripe wearing poofs are STILL IN LAST PLACE!

Rodriguez made a noise, which Clark said was, "Mine," prompting the infielder to abandon pursuit of the popup.
Marty Barret used to do that from time to time.

I guess there is no rule against this?
Fair ball.

Didn't the Yankees just let the Blue Jays steal home?! Talk about stupid! They did indeed. But unlike the Blue Jays the Yanks didn't blame the other team for their stupidity.

MLB Official Rules Official Rules: 2.00 Definition of Terms
INTERFERENCE
(a) Offensive interference is an act by the team at bat which interferes with, obstructs, impedes, hinders or confuses any fielder attempting to make a play. If the umpire declares the batter, batter- runner, or a runner out for interference, all other runners shall return to the last base that was in the judgment of the umpire, legally touched at the time of the interference, unless otherwise provided by these rules.
This isn't the same as the hidden ball trick. Ryan Freel is on the DL because of a collision. What A-Rod did could have lead to a collision. If the fielder can't rely on a safety measure like calling for a ball, he is made more unsafe. There are kids in little league and Babe Ruth league ball who will look at what A-Rod did and think it's okay and there will be kids who are involved in collisions because of it. Umps in leagues like that come down hard on bush league stuff like calling for a ball when you're the runner and not the fielder. A-Rod is a pr!ck.

You’d think that A-hole Rod would stay away from controversy given his current notoriety. No, he just can’t do it.
Gee, Toronto is a divisional opponent. That means the Yankees play them at least 12 more times. (I don’t know how many times they’ve played each other so far).
So A-hole Rod’s chances of wearing a fastball are pretty good.

The call a ball policy is designed to prevent dangerous collisions. This isn’t just messing with the opposing team.

Gay-rod may have talent and ability, but at the core, he's all bush league. From the Glove Slap on Arroyo, to trying to elbow Pedroia in the balls at second base, to this---how much more obvious can it be? From what I hear on sports talk radio, he's one of the most hated players in MLB---most hated by other players, that is.
To: mowowie
A-Rod better be careful. Some dark night in a back alley, some serious damage will be done to his knees with a baseball bat.
