Bill,
Keep up the *outstanding* work. I am a service member who has seen combat in Iraq and have more than a few buddies that have been injured over there. ***I cannot stress the importance of the role you are playing in the states.*** The war stateside, in the public view and in the headlines will ultimately decide our country's fate. As for morale...we get angry overseas about hearing ppl whine about the war, but when we hear these stories we are profoundly rejuvenated. I commend you for your service and bringing the fight to the enemy!!
Will you come out this Friday night to help cover the backs of our brave troops against the psyche-ops of treacherous Code Pink (who call our troops terrorists right there at Walter Reed)and their allies? Will you help our troops become "profoundly rejuvenated?"
Please don't let the troops think that regular Americans are too busy with TV, ballgames, movies and other recreation to peacefully counter America-hating leftists.
As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
Fridays, 6:30 to 9:30 pm Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 7200 Georgia Ave., at Elder St., NW, Washington, DC
On street parking is usually easy to find. Location is about 6 or 7 blocks from Takoma metro station and is walkable, but it is best if you get a ride. If you want a ride, FReepmail tgslTakoma and me, preferably with your cell phone number as far in advance as possible. If you wait until Friday afternoon, it may be too late to coordinate a Metro ride
Bill, I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the FRiday night FReep and Saturday’s rally. I thoroughly enjoyed standing up for American and our troups and visiting with my DC Chapter FRiends.
To all who have labored so long and so diligently to make these events so successful, I extend a heartfelt Taxman Bravo Zulu!
I don’t know when, but I’ll be back!
Makes it all worth it to hear that from one of the troops, doesn't it?
Outstanding work as usual, DC Chapter. Thanks for standing up for my brothers.
Wonderful report.
Can you use an active duty FReeper tonite?
Great report, terrific photos. Thank you all, FR’s Finest, for your dedication to our wounded and for standing up to those creeps. Those banners are awesome!
Bless you all! And God Bless our Troops!!
We love you guys! Keep up the great work. Maybe soon, I can join you!
What a week you had! I can tell you all appreciated the excitement with the PINKOS FROM HELL!!
Can’t seem to make myself join in a cigar, but I bet I can buy some at JR’s on the way up Route 95...pretty soon.
3D-JOY
I am still wondering why organizations like Code Pink, who brag on their website about the money they sent to terrorists and the democrats that helped them, are allowed to run free. I wish people would remind their congressmen what these “anti-war” groups say and do on a daily basis.
With what happened at Ft. Dix, my family’s firearm collection is now much more accessible and I am moving my CCW (for off duty only) to my new state (delayed due to deployment last year).
With the fact that leftists have been planning these acts for years ("rationalized" with leftist misinformation and lies), see below, I have to wonder how many are actively assisting the terrorists in planning the deaths of my wife, sons, friends, and their families.
