Clinton Heads West in Search of Latino Vote; Los Angeles Mayor Endorses Senator, Campaign Claims Strongest Hispanic Support
May 30, 2007
Clinton struck several populist notes Wednesday in a speech at a union hall and at a town hall appearance at a North Las Vegas high school with large number of minority and low-income students.
The senator told members of the Culinary Workers Union, a group that represents casino and hotel workers, that it should be made easier for unions to winning Nevada's Jan. 19 caucus.
The senator made light of her own personal wealth. "I know a lot of rich people. My husband and I never had any money ... now all the sudden we're rich," Clinton said. "I have nothing against rich people. ... but what made America great is the American middle class."
Clinton won her loudest applause with her promise to end the war in Iraq.

Phoney Bario Spanglish to be heard soon.
Either that or a really bad Speedy Gonzales impression. Frankly, it would not surprise me if she did do something that tacky.
Uh, yes, someone tell Hillery to shout out “Hace Dinero!”
“Either that or a really bad Speedy Gonzales impression. Frankly, it would not surprise me if she did do something that tacky.”
IMHO you can take that to the bank!
Hillary: “Ich bin ein Bürger von Mexiko...”
:-)
Ooops! How did that happen? Must be good to rule the village (idiots).
I have a few really choice Spanish phrases for her, but some of the mods may speak Spanish and I do not wanna get banned.
ROFLMAO!
It would be damned funny to see the reaction to that one!
She going to speak Cisco’s sidekick, Pancho.
“My husband and I never had any money ...”
That we came by honestly.
She’s more subtle than that.
Note she doesn’t push Amnesty and new imported worker programs to these people. Hispanic citizens, ie voters, are not for that. If the polling showed otherwise, she’d support that.
What she’s hawking is an increase in relative chain migration for citizen’s already here. Hence she can seem “caring” while not promoting big business’s wage depression ambitions - which she quietly supports.
Richardson has done the same, side steps amnesty - not a winner to the voters, while invoking the threat of the Senate bill’s words to shift to merit/skills based immigration in the far off murky future.
Obama has also spoken similar about the merit-based immigration. This year’s “felony” bogeyman.
Shrillery: “Just look at us, a pair of vicious, dishonest grifters like Bill ‘n’ me can make it big despite copious public records proving we are liars and frauds...... ain’t America great?!?!”
She spent a weekend with JeLo to get down the accent. She already has the fat ass, shouldn’t be much of a stretch.
“When ju get in that boof mang, member to vote for Heelliry! Essay!”
Make that, “She going to speak like Cisco’s sidekick, Pancho.”
