And it wasn't a moment too soon, because a planet destroying probe is headed toward earth because it lost contact with the whales when we hunted them to extinction in the mid 21st century, and the radio waves it was sending to try to reestablish contact would have caused massive destruction to the planet.

My version of the whale story: There was a Yorkie dog loose on a back country road here in Metrowest MA, 6 am last week. Chased him for half an hour and couldn’t catch him. Police/dog officer threw up their hands...no town leash law.) I travel on that road twice a day and haven’t seen him since....hoping he’s back home. (He was adorable.)
They just didn't look in the right place. Unfortunately, both of the giant creatures are alive and well and hanging out in various New York eateries.
Did you look in the linen closet and the junk drawer?
