School staff will need body armour when new powers to search pupils for weapons come into force, a teaching union says.

From next Thursday head teachers will be able to authorise staff or security guards to carry out such searches.

The Professional Association of Teachers says staff who carry out searches must be trained and should have access to protective clothing.

Liberalism has created a situation in which children threaten the lives of teachers.

So now school teachers must wear stab-proof, bullit-proof “armor”. Has it occurred to anybody that something’s wrong? Could it be Decadence???

Somewhere in here is a sick joke about never wearing a stab proof vest to a gun fight....how sad we have allowed the lack of discipline and parental guidance to degrade our schools to this state.

When the teachers feel they need body armour, it’s time to tear the whole thing down and start over again.

I think it may also be because ‘children’ are a protected class any more. Neither parents or teachers are allowed to discipline kids now a days.

How are the teachers going to have sex with the students with these vests on? I don’t see it happening.

No,no,no! Liberal/Socialist education will work. You'll see! It just needs some more time and some more money to get rid of the racist, bigoted, sexist, homophobes! But it'll work!...it'll work...! It's just that it hasn't had a chance...people tried it before did it wrong...

(/sarcasm)

It’s called chain mail and you can make it yourself. Stops everything larger than an ice pick. Add aluminum plates and it will stop ice picks as well. Check with your local SCA group to find someone to teach you how to make it.

If there were two parent families and the dad would grow one and give the little brats a sound paddling when they needed it we wouldn't have little hellions running around terrorizing schools.

Has it occurred to anybody that something’s wrong?

Obviously, we need more laws.

Should just turn over the whole country to the socialists?

Oh, we already have?

Nevermind.

Some pupils wear stab-proof vests

A 16-year-old boy from east London has been caught wearing a stab-proof vest to keep him safe from knife attacks at school, after he was threatened.

Teachers told him to take it off in lessons, but he is allowed to wear it while travelling to and from school.

The vests are made from material too thick for a knife to get through.

Some kids as young as 10 are now asking about stab vests in shops even though shopkeepers aren't allowed to sell them to them without parental permission.

Statistics show that one in three children younger than 16 regularly arm themselves with a knife or bladed weapon.

It's this fear of being stabbed that is making more children feel the need to wear stab-proof vests.

Carrying a knife is against the law and government plans are currently being drawn up to give teachers the right to search pupils for knives and weapons.

“I think it may also be because ‘children’ are a protected class any more. Neither parents or teachers are allowed to discipline kids now a days.”

Exactly. The idea that children are somehow more special than adults and therefor given special protected status, has resulted in children knowing that they can walk all over adults and adults can do nothing about it.

People who worship children make me want to puke, and no I don’t want to see pictures of your spoiled rotten little rug rats. ;-)

Oh I see this is the UK. No! would be the answer to any teacher's union in the US. You bus our kids, give parents no say in what school they'll be assigned to, then you wan t a stab vest while our little Johnny is not protected the same way (more should be the answer). No way!
