Moscow - Russia's new intercontinental ballistic missile, which was test fired on Tuesday, can break through any missile shield, Itar-Tass news agency reported First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov as saying.
When asked about the launch, Ivanov said Russia's "new tactical and strategic complexes are able to overcome any existing or future missile defence system", Itar-Tass reported.
"So from the point of view of defence and security Russians can feel safe," Ivanov said.

If you want to peacefully help stop the Talibanization of America and prevent the challenge Europe faces today, send an e-mail to charlesmartel@verizon.net. Sample letters to your state and federal representatives will be provided upon request. Additional action and educational materials will be offered as they are developed. If you live in northern Virginia, Maryland, or the Washington, DC area and are interested in organizing to peacefully confront radical American Islamists on their home front, do the same. Let not ours be the generation that failed America and the world.

When asked about the launch, Ivanov said Russia's "new tactical and strategic complexes are able to overcome any existing or future missile defence system", Itar-Tass reported. So why are they so afraid of the defensive system Poland and the Czech Republic are letting the US setup on their territory?

So from the point of view of defence and security Russians can feel safe Safe from WHAT ?

IBM got out of the missile defense business long ago......I think they make computers and software now. No wait I work for Big Blue so I should know!

They aren't afraid of anything. Its the embarrassment of being marginalized even more in the post cold war world.

Shouldn't that be ICBM? I thought my stock portfolio was about to split. The headline at the original said IBM. Would perhaps the Admin Gods add "[ICBM]" to the headline to avoid confusion, please?
