Just about everything but abortion. Thank God he has stood firm on that.

After all, the conventional wisdom is that Bush is the most conservative of all presidents, an advocate of limited government,

I thought Bush’s first term was fantastic, but his second term has been a major letdown from the beginning. Ultimately, his big government ways and pro-illegal immigrant nonsense have caught up with him. He’s based his entire presidency on Iraq...while millions of illegals invade our borders and socialist spending and wasting skyrocket out of control.
Thanks for letting down this voter, W.

I don’t know what the hell he’s thinking. Does he honestly think this bill is a good thing? Is he too corrupt to care? Or to stupid to know any better?

Personally, I’d rather have him be pro-abortion rights if it means he’s tough on illegal aliens, national defense, trade with China, border security, SC judges, and American sovereignty.

What did you guys think Bush was when Bush said he was a “Compassionate Conservative” in 2000? I knew exactly what it meant and still voted for him because the alternative was worse.

Richard Cohen is an ultra-liberal. It’s scary as hell to see so many Freepers agreeing with him.

I knew exactly what it meant and still voted for him because the alternative was worse.Having doofi like Gore and Kerry as alternatives likely got him elected.
