I also read that this bill would require Americans to carry a “Hardened” social security card. Which of course is just a sneaky way of instituting a National Identity card. The mark is coming soon. I am sure.

Actually there are two aspects in the bill that are quite good and this is one of them (probably why the ACLU hates it). It is simply an electronic verification of your social security status.

The other good part of the bill is changing from chain family migration to a point system based on merit.

These are two very important changes we need to make, the problem is that the rest of the bill is a poison pill and would cause increased illegal immigration.
