I also read that this bill would require Americans to carry a “Hardened” social security card. Which of course is just a sneaky way of instituting a National Identity card. The mark is coming soon. I am sure.
Though it may not be anything like 'the mark', the Democratic and Republican establishments are both pushing for a biometric national ID card, with the data stored centrally in a federal database and redundantly in the card itself on a chip. Is it just an extreme minority of folks who are wary of this sort of thing? Does it take federally mandated RFID tags to make people uneasy? Or will the majority accept that too, because it will make them feeeeeeeel safer?
