Not for nothin'... I like the Washington Times, but it just annoys the hell out of me that we have to excerpt their articles.  The NYT/LAT/WP, those jerks I can understand, but The Times?

I don’t know if we have to... I just tend to do it unless it’s from a govt site, or Iran and other enemies.

Excerpting is OK, as long as the link allows us to read the article without registration, as in this case. They do after all have to pay the bills, and they get ad revenue based on the number of hits they get, just as their ad rates for the printed edition depend on their circulation.
