Ft Dix Six tipster revealed
Hot Air ^

Posted on 05/29/2007 9:50:44 AM PDT by Barney Gumble

Brian Morganstern, the Circuit City clerk whose tip led to the arrest of the “Ft Dix Six” appeared on CNN’s American Morning today. I’ve edited the interview for length.

Roberts: You’re being hailed as a hero. How do you feel about that? Morganstern: I don’t feel like a hero, to be honest with you. I feel like I did the right thing. But the real heroes are our men and women overseas, and the people in our law enforcement who handled this situation.

Nice clip. Good fellow. I just wish the incident wouldn't be forgotten by the MSM as it had been.

The incident isn’t being forgotten by the MSM, it is being actively buried by them lest someone start asking about why Bill Clinton had us support these jihadists against the Christian Serbs who were defending their homeland.

From the CNM story, kid has excellent instincts:

Although the ordeal, which included questioning by the FBI, felt "like something out of a movie," Morgenstern said the "real heroes" were those who conducted the investigation and our "men and women overseas."

The ACLU will try to crucify him.

Many will stand beside him.

He has a life he can be proud of and hang his hat on.

Of course this is being buried. I can’t recall who it was (Jennings? Rather? Cronkite?), but years ago a journalist was asked if they would report an imminent attack on American and they said no, “That would be interferring with news”. Yet this is what exactly this young man did.

The left is going to hate him. A heroic, clean cut, lilly white kid with a jewish sounding name.

Do we have a photo of hillary greeting these poor, persecuted refugees when they arrived at Fort Dix?

Here’s an article published in the NYTimes back in 1999, saying the Christie Whitman was mad because Hillary tried to keep her away from the photo op.

Whitman Aides in Pique at First Lady

By JAMES DAO
Published: May 6, 1999

Aides to Gov. Christine Todd Whitman accused Hillary Rodham Clinton of trying to avoid sharing the media limelight yesterday during ceremonies to greet Kosovar refugees as they arrived at Fort Dix in New Jersey.

Peter McDonough, a spokesman for the Governor, said that Mrs. Whitman had wanted to shake hands with the refugees as they got off a chartered plane at McGuire Air Force Base. But Mr. McDonough said that the First Lady’s office vetoed the idea, contending that it would not be safe for Mrs. Whitman to be so close to the refugees because many of them were thought to be carrying tuberculosis or other infectious diseases.

Mr. McDonough scoffed at that explanation, asserting that Mrs. Clinton simply did not want to allow Mrs. Whitman to be first in line greeting the refugees at an event that was getting intense media coverage.

‘’I don’t know how stupid they think we are to fall for such a flimsy excuse,’’ Mr. McDonough said. ‘’It’s an extraordinarily transparent bit of political jockeying by an apparent Senate candidate in the state of New York.’’

Mrs. Clinton is said to be thinking of running as a Democrat for the United States Senate in New York next year. Mrs. Whitman, a Republican, has already said she plans to run for the Senate in New Jersey.

Julie Mason, a spokeswoman for Mrs. Clinton, said, ‘’The First Lady was not involved in establishing how the refugees were greeted when they arrived.’’

Mrs. Whitman eventually did get to shake hands with many of the refugees as they disembarked from buses that had brought them from the Air Force base to Fort Dix, where they will be housed. She then appeared with the First Lady inside a gymnasium where Mrs. Clinton addressed the refugees.

After the event, Mrs. Clinton and Mrs. Whitman exchanged niceties. ‘’She thanked the Governor for being so helpful in setting up the event,’’ said Jayne O’Connor, a spokeswoman for Mrs. Whitman.

Here’s a link to more NYTimes articles on the arrival of clinton’s Muslim refugees:

Note to Congress, out of town and getting their ears singed hopefully: Get that John Doe protection act passed. You’re burnin’ daylight....

It's not the ACLU I'd be worried about. If I were him, I wouldn't want my name and face plastered all over everything. I hope the authorities are willing to keep an eye on him and the slimes that live around him. I fear for his safety.

I wonder if he will be getting a raise or bonus reward from Circuit City for his heroism? Perhp CC gift certificates?

The fact that that law was not passed immediately, and unanimously, shows what trouble this country is in.

I’m very discouraged.

I just don”t get it! Health care workers are just supposed to open their arms to these immigrants. It is mandated that they treat and offer interpreters. They dare not ask patients about their country of origin or recent travel anymore. Just try eliciting their immunization status! If it is prudent for the elite to avoid contact with new immigrants, what about our health care workers?

That was my first thought. My second was that he is setting a great example by not being intimidated by our enemies. If they go after him now, either he will survive or not, but it would be another wakeup call to the rest of the nation.

of his employer, Circuit City)
Best Buy has just slipped to #2 on my list of electronic gadget
suppliers.
