Excellent article.

Syria is a prime candidate for Sarkozy’s new foreign policy.

If France is serious about stepping up to the world stage, all they have to do is offer military support - troops, planes, and ships - to Lebanon.

When Syria threatens, France can find a cause for war, and clean out the mess in the Bekaa, and go right on up through Syria.

The US can attack from Iraq, and we’ll see a new march to the sea by US armored forces.
