Can anyone be a New York Yankees fan and a Boston Red Sox fan at the same time and win the presidency?
Democratic candidate Bill Richardson wants to have it all.
"I'm a Red Sox fan," said the New Mexico governor, who was born in Pasadena, Calif., but spent his early childhood in Mexico City.
Richardson attended a boarding school in Concord, Mass., where he pitched on the baseball team. He graduated from Tufts University in 1971 with a master's degree in international affairs. He also pitched a season in the Cape Cod summer league. He follows baseball closely to this day.

But I said if I weren't running for president, I would like to be No. 7 -- Mickey Mantle -- playing center field for the New York Yankees.
"My favorite team has always been the Red Sox," he said, then added, "I'm also a Yankees fan. . . .

It’s not possible. If he can’t make up his mind about baseball, how is he supposed to make decisions that actually matter?

Not to be presumtuous...
but is this code for "Bill Richardson is a child of the elites and
has never really worked an honest day in his life"?

I don't give a damn about what he thinks about baseball!!
Was it baseball occupying his mind when our national secrets were stolen during his watch?
I'm waiting for one of our spineless rhinos to ask him about this in depth..
I'm not going to hold my breath - but maybe we'll get lucky and someone - somewhere will have the spine to do it.

If he’s the RAT nominee and polls next summer show that Missouri is the *key* state in the election I *guarantee* that he’ll miraculously become a Cardinals fan...and claim that he’s best of friends with Bob Gibson.

Do you mean like him looking for and finding a job for Monica - per Slick Willy's request?
