BEIRUT - Syria has built a fortified complex buried deep underground and cloaked in secrecy to manufacture and store ballistic missiles capable of striking Israel. The complex includes 30 reinforced concrete bunkers, production facilities, development laboratories and command posts, the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot quoted "foreign experts" as saying. According to the paper, Syria has 200 Scud-B missiles, 60 Scud-C and a certain number of North Korean Scud-D missiles with a range of 700 kilometres (434 miles), and has developed chemical warheads for all its Scuds...

Hmmm...

Maybe time for a “real life” test of our latest bunker busting technology?

Wonder if Diane Sawyer remembered to ask Assad what he was doing with all of Hussein’s WMDs and components. Apparently she felt what was on his iPod was more pertinent.

Get Syra to deny it in the press.. Then destroy it. When they complain. Ask the world now just how did we destroy something that the Syrian government says does not exist?

They really should hire any random selected intelligent 9 year old an put them in charge of the State Department. They might then actually work in America’s interests.

Just keep in mind that the State Department Sacks of Crap earn more money in “Hazardous duty pay” alone above and beyond their salaries than the Average GI earns in all pay and allowances serving in Iraq or Afghanistan..

That about explains why they don’t get a thing done doesn’t it?.. Whisked around in private armored Limousines with security officers guarding them..They move and work about the world like Mandarins..

The American peoples interests the least of their concerns.

Syria Has Secret Underground "Missile City"

Well, can't be much of a secret any more, can it.
That is so 13th century.

Fortunately, these morons haven't figured out that underground "invulnerable" facilities are only as useful as the access points.
Hard to move those "... 200 Scud-B missiles, 60 Scud-C and a certain number of North Korean Scud-D missiles with a range of ..." when all the access points are under hundreds of tons of rubble.

It will make a nice archelogical dig one day though.

America has underwater “missile cities” that could turn Syria to glass.

I hope for Bush’s sake the intelligence is better then it was in Iraq. If this is true look out. They are already causing another summer of hell over there with the rockets red glare. They do this every summer to ruin the Israeli tourist trade and it usually works.

I tend to agree with post 2. The world is rapidly charging to a climax of destruction. Might be a good time to know your mortality and seek the Lord.

All I know is that one day the phrase “Syrian Glass” is going to be something way different than it is right now.

While Israel slept and elected traitors such as Rabin, Barak and Olmert, its enemies have been busy learning the lesson of the Osirak Bombing. It won’t be so easy next time. Weakness and appeasement carries a steep price.

About 1957 they started to have us do the air raid exercises (nuke) in school. We have been 30 minutes from thermonuclear annihilation ever since. That would be 50 years. Half a century. The B-52s used to make contrail circles in the sky every day, ready to break north by the dozens at any time. Oddly, there have been some jets making contrail circles in the sky recently.
