I suspect the reason for dismissing his previous work was a lot more than just a disagreement. I'm thinking that Woody spent a lot of his time quote mining, misrepresenting evidence and misunderstanding a whole lot and that may have some bearing in the decision to not read the rest of his work.
With the vast amount of literature out there to read some selection has to be done. What better way than by basing that selection on previous work?
I certainly will never read another thing from Deepak Chopra based on other material of his I have read which was nothing but a pile of mind numbing wooness.
Am I wrong in this decision?
Oh, yes, before I forget. Here is a critique of Woody's work from an authority in the field. You do like authorities do you not?
“YEC John Woodmorappe (a pseudonym) is infamous for scouring hundreds of scientific references to find quotations that he believes dispute the accuracy of radiometric dating. However, when his quotations and references are viewed in context, they usually fail to support his claims and often refute them.”
JW is not the only YEC’r guilty of this.
