I would vote for Rudy if he got the nomination. Obama is the least obnoxious and he is not much better qualified to be president than I am. In other words, very unqualified.

Ive noticed the absence of many long time Freepers. Some of the bans were pretty shocking, too. The site isnt the same.
You're right. Not nearly as many homo-cheerleaders or baby-killer-apologists. The site isn't the same. It's better.

From what I’ve read so far, you must have a BIG cup! Seems like it went on for a while.

My experience is not like yours. I don’t recall Mia T, Howlin, or Travis Mcgee cheerleading for homos. Maybe we read different threads.

Sweetness & Light, exiled commenter Steve Gilbert, who says he does not support the former mayors campaign, blasted the sites new anti-Giuliani, anti-abortion jihad. Since George W. Bush was elected president, he wrote, there havent been any large scale [Free Republic] purges to speak of until now. An inaccurate statement.

...JimRob sounds like a very dangerous man LOL
As a fund raiser, maybe DFU could make a feature film about the now famous thread with sound effects and appropriate music.
On a serious note--many of those individuals who are now gone had an attitude problem and could not conduct a civil discussion without pulling out the pepper spray...

Hmmm. The crevo threads havent changed much, tho. ;)
If you ask me, most of the crevo threads are most likely instigated by lefty trolls. Not that I have any suspects, but the fact that there are so many of them tells me that someone is using the issue to drive a wedge between conservatives of a more scientific bent and those of a more religious bent here on FR.
Why do I say that? Because there was a time a while back when I was specifically starting slavery reparation threads on lib websites for the same reason.

Rudy is a “brand name” and we’re a culture obsessed with “brands.” It’s easier to re-position an existing brand than create a new one.
Just three more points:
A)Rudy doesn’t stand a chance among heartland conservatives. There are far too many skeletons in his closet and far too many New York-isms in his history. What gets a yawn in NYC, such as dressing in drag for a charity event, becomes a scandal in other parts of the country.
B) If conservatives stand any chance at all, it’s by running a populist. Rudy can’t pass as a populist.
C) Rudy has neithe the temperment nor experience for the White House.

Courtesy ping. Some of the bitter Rudyites are posting poorly written satirical comments over at the article under some FR aliases, and one of them used your handle. I’m jealous.
To: Eurotwit
I miss Travis Mcgee.... FR has not been the same since he was shown the door... A true American, a true Patriot, and a true defender of Western Civ. You're not the only one. With all this talk of amnesty, I'd like to see many come back from that time.
To: Eurotwit
Remove trolls, but forget about the brownshirt behaviour. I guess you Yankees has not experienced occupation and oppression on your land. But, for a Euro, the brownshirt behavour doesnt feel right.
Uh, perhaps you remember that brownshirts were para-military thugs who used physical intimidation, beatings, murder, and blackmail to advance politically. What, pray tell, does kicking a bunch of phonies off of a privately owned website have to do with "brownshirt" behavior?
If anything, the brownshirts were the phony pro-Rudy trolls who were well-organized and pounced upon everyone and anyone who disagreed with them in a most uncivil and belligerent manner. If Jim didn't recognize the danger they were posing not only to the conservative mission of FR but to the GOP and the nation as well, they would have taken over FR.
I think you need to re-read your history of the Third Reich before making such outrageous and frankly stupid comparisons in the future.

Agreed.

Totally agree. Especially “C”. Take away a person’s livihood and they’ll vote early and often for relief. There's just not that many of us purists.
To: muawiyah
Really, I don't miss those guys ~ discovered them only when they decided to anal-eyes me, their favoriate activity.
LOL. That's how I found them too. I searched for one of my threads on Google and found it had been dissected in minute detail on Clown Posse. And amazingly, some of the idiots on there had the same screen names as they carried on FR.
When your leisure-time activity is to cyber-stalk people you disagree with from one internet forum on another, you've got serious, serious issues.
