I know, due process and all, but he’s a military man. He should have been canned after it was revealed he was having an affair with a fellow married Naval officer, as well as a junior subordinate. And unless Navy standards for officer conduct have gone to hell (adultery is a punishable offense for the officer corps), his career will finish at some nondescript desk.

It has....and not just the in the Navy..
The entire nation has experienced a lowering of standards in EVERY area of endeavor..

Exactly, that is “cause” for dismissal from the service.

I think the “delay” was an attempt to tap down the discussion by the media
