Yesterday, Rosie's chief writer, Janette Barber, was allegedly escorted from the building after she was caught drawing moustaches on photographs of Hasselbeck that hang in the "View" studios.
The Post's Adam Buckman reports ABC confirmed in a statement only that "photographs at 'The View's' offices were defaced. Rosie O'Donnell was not in the building. ABC Legal and Human Resources are investigating the matter." Barber is an old friend of O'Donnell who worked with her years ago on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show."
There were also rumors O'Donnell was so angry after her argument with Hasselbeck that she trashed her dressing room, although ABC denied the tantrum.
As for O'Donnell, she's been posting comments on her personal Web site, rosie.com, fueling speculation she might not return to "The View" ever again. Her scheduled last day is Wednesday, June 20.
When one fan wrote, "Work isn't worth that battle," Rosie replied, "Agreed." Another wrote, "Please walk away. It's not worth it." Rosie replied, "Well, you know when it's time to go."
To a fan who asked when she would return, O'Donnell answered, "No idea."
Yesterday, O'Donnell posted a video that may have symbolized how she's feeling about "The View."
The tape consisted of ducks swimming in a pond accompanied by an audio track of the John Mayer song "Vultures," whose lyrics include "How will I hold my head to keep from going under?"
Officially, "The View" expects O'Donnell to return to work on Tuesday.

I saw the video. Hasselbeck took her apart and never put her back together again. :-)
Oh, and Hasselbeck would look far better than O’Donnell even if she had a real mustache. :-)
Beauty may only be skin deep, but with Rosie, ugly goes all the way to the core.
I missed it and have no idea what happened. Where’s the video? What happened?
Way too much ado about nothing.
My favorite response on her blog was the guy who said “Won’t you just die?”...thought it was a classy touch!
No doubt. But yet, it was interesting, in a car wreck kind of way, to watch O’Donnell call herself a fat ugly lesbian.

Are they trying to tell us that Rosie needs help being that big of a moron?
Amazing, isn’t it?
This woman insults people constantly with her bombastic statements. She’s already told me I am responsible for knocking down the world trade and my religion is as bad as those murderers of woman and children. That I’m dangerous to America.
Then one very mild woman stands up to her and she’s so upset she walks out of work. She can dish it out pretty nasty but can’t take the smallest bit back.
The self-named, “Queen of Nice”, is at it again.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Of course, I'm pretty lucky to come home to who I come home to also so there's not too much envy.
And the essence of Hasselbeck's dishing back was just to tell Rosie that she should defend her own insinuations. Sounds reasonable to me....but then I'm not a self described fat lesbian.
You have to understand, Rosie is mentally ill, she can’t help it.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth is fine!
While I will give her points for just putting up with the fat rude dyke, Hasselbeck is not up to the job. She is way to pretty and WAY to soft to confront obvious lies. They need a heavier hitter. I would love to see Ann Coulter do a week or weeks long stint sitting at the table.
And thus tacitly admit that she is uncontrollably jealous of Hasselbeck, who might be two cards short of a full deck but who also went out of her way to protect Rosie on H&C last week.
I think they recognize that anyone who was a stronger debator would effectively shut down the other 3 pigs. Hasselbeck is perfect because she restrains herself enough so that the 3 moonbats can still spew their filth with relative impunity.
