Just goes to show - “never judge a book by it’s cover”.
This man is one shrewd businessman.
One solid American.
One solid family man.
One solid American.
I like him - and his show.

Simmons isn’t going to kiss anyones backsides. He’s made enough money he doesn’t need any more and he is smart enough to follow his own mind (which he does have one) unlike so very many celebs nowadays.

Another hollywood star that gets the WOT. I am proud of you Gene for taking a stand.

I love his show..it's one of the few shows I watch on TV anymore. The one this past Sunday was awesome when he sang the anthem for each branch of the service.
Not real fond of the facelift though...

i knew i loved gene for a reason...ive watched his show and although his living arrangement with shannon is a bit unconventional...they really are a very conventional family. his kids are great...hes really devoted to his family and probably spends more time with his kids than a great percentage of dads ...kudos to gene for speaking out.

Why did someone keep referring to him being Israeli?

Gee Skippy; I’m guessing Barbara Streisand is more your thing. ;-P

He was born in Haifa and immigrated to the United States when he was about 9 or 10.

Correct. He was born as Chaim Witz in Haifa. When you strip away the rock god veneer, he's an incredibly intelligent man, essentially a right-leaning centrist.

That was himself, he is Israeli.
I believe some time back he taped a message to an Israeli soldier who was wounded, who he found out was a Kiss fan. So I think he taped a message in Hebrew and sent it to him. Someone else may have the details.

Hold on a moment. I’m not the one whose life is so empty that I feel the irresistible urge to post on threads about subjects or people I don’t like just for the sake of saying I don’t like them. Except for Jimmy Carter threads. I’m guessing that most FReepers would understand.
One more thing. When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, the one that yelps is the one you hit.
I guess that means I was spot-on with the Streisand comment. Don’t worry. Even though I don’t agree with your lifestyle I don’t hate you for it.
