Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has no intention of halting Israel's aerial offensive against Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip despite calls by President Mahmoud Abbas for a ceasefire, Olmert aides said Thursday.
"Israel will continue to operate against Hamas' terror. They will not control the situation, we will control the situation. We still haven't exhausted most of the targets that have been approved by the security cabinet," one aide added.
Israel will step up attacks against Hamas over the next ten days for fear that world powers meeting at the G8 summit in Berlin next week will press it to end its latest assault on the Islamic group.
"They (Hamas) need to understand that the price tag for attaching Israeli towns like Sderot is very high and unworthy," one minister said.
Israel launched a massive aerial offensive against Palestinian terror groups in the wake of heightened rocket attacks against communities near the border with the Gaza Strip.
So what ya gonna do there lawyer?
Put the terrorists in jail for a few days or weeks?
Idiot.
Kill the bastards.

If Israel launched a massive GROUND offensive into Gaza, one calculated to destroy everything in its path, ala General Sherman, THEN Hamas will understand that the price tag is too high for attacking Israel. Until then, Olmert and his toadies are just a bunch of windbags.
Turn off the water. Turn off the electicity. For one day for every rocket that is fired.

Israel should wall the border with Gaza, and shut off the workers who cross over and other traffic (other than IDF of course). If they want to relocate from Gaza and rent in Israel, let ‘em, but insist on their “right of return” from Israel to Gaza.
Works for me!
More idle tough talk from Olmerde? Or will he back up his words with deeds?
