Rasmussen Report: Democrats Trusted More Than Republicans on 10 Key Issues

“Democrats are currently trusted more than Republicans on all ten issues measured in Rasmussen Reports tracking surveys. Democrats even have slight advantages on National Security and Taxes, two issues “owned” by Republicans during the generation since Ronald Reagan took office.

“On National Security, 46% now trust Democrats more while 43% prefer the GOP. On taxes, the Democrats have a five point advantage, 47% to 42%. Democrats enjoy double digit advantages on ethics and government corruption, the War in Iraq, Immigration, Education, Social Security, and Healthcare. The Republicans are within single digits on Abortion and the Economy.

“Rasmussen Reports monthly surveys have shown a sharp decline in the number of Americans considering themselves Republicans over the past eight months. Democrats currently enjoy an 11-point advantage on the Generic Congressional Ballot.”

Hey, I agree with this poll. I TRUST the Democrats to sell this country out and tax us to death. I no longer TRUST the Republican party to counter them.

I don’t trust anything coming from the DNC, and the fact that they use Rasmussen as their pollster makes it even LESS credible.

Generic Democrats almost always do better on generic topics than Republicans. It is when they start putting names to the Democrats and specify what their policies are when Democrats go down the tubes.

Perhaps so, as conservatives distance themselves from RINOs.

NOT a move to the left.

Considering what Chertoff had to say about illegal immigrants, the bit about National Security doesn't surprise me at all. The Bush administration clearly does not give a damn about our national security.

What a contest! Would you prefer to be eaten by lions or by crocodiles? Do you trust shyster lawyers or used car salesmen more? Which porn star's virgin purity impresses you more? Which form of human excrement tastes best?
