For those of you having difficulty getting thru to your senator, here is the 800 # paid for by the Mexican Amnesty Activists:
800-882-2005
This will get you directly to your senator unlike the #'s available to the US Citizen.
Press 1 when you hear a Spanish message, then Press 1 again to be transferred to your senior senator's office
OR
Press 2 when you hear a Spanish message, and you'll be transferred to your junior senator's office.
You get through immediately and the call is paid for by the enemy!
Why not just give him the phone number and the link to Michelle Malkin’s blog? (I’d keep us out of it.)
I’m a Rush 24/7 member. I’ll email it to him.
Good for you!
I just got off the phone to Isakson’s office. [Again used the Spanish/Soros hotline, and got straight through to live a human.) I explained that I wasn’t giving them the name/location of the website in question, but instructed them to check out Michelle Malkin’s site. I appreciate the link that was provided to her page; it was very helpful.
I think about that too Tark. I imagine how they talk about us peons. I really don't understand any of what's going on in this country anymore. I understand that the lefties are hateful, power hungry, treasonous bastards, but I don't understand why so called conservatives keep going along with all of this.
Why? So they can continue to feign ignorance there is a grassroots society more aware of the heartbeat of real America than they?
No. I say let them come, let them see, let them return with a message. I don't know about the rest, but I've nothing stated here I hadn't nor wouldn't state to them if they were seated across from me at my dining room table.
Try "Una cerveza fria, por favor." This is an essential phrase. If you can't get a cold beer in a hot climate you might die of deyhdration.
Last night, I was waiting to hear this issue mentioned on Fox News, but was disappointed.
On Hannity and Colmes, Ann Coulter alluded (not in a subtle way) to the fact that Fox News has their marching orders from the White House to avoid the amnesty issue. Then, when she tried to work it in to the discussion about Iraq, she was shushed up. So I don’t know what’s going on.
Also, Geraldo Riviera was given a show of his own on Fox, and he has been raving in favor of illegal aliens. I don’t know where he stands on the bill since I usually change channels when his face appears on the screen.
I just googled the number and the very first hit directed the searcher to FreeRepublic and other hits went to Michelle Malkin and numberous other sites including some in Spanish.
Tell this guy to learn about Google. For some reason he's trying to scam you.
It’s disgusting. And don’t even get me STARTED on Geraldo; I also change channels when his face appears.
When I logged on this a.m., it appears that this issue isn’t hot on FreeRepublic today. But it’s my Friday off, and I’ll definitely be on the phone making calls to traitors in D.C.
This bill directly impacts negatively African Americans, among many others. ("Illegal immigration's harmful effects: Congressional Black Caucus drops the ball" by Carol M. Swain, The Washington Times, May 25, 2007, p. A21). They should be all out protesting against this bill - only the CBC appears to have a different agenda.
Sen. Dole’s office personnel told me the reason the lines were so busy were the calls in opposition to the immigration proposal. He said I’d just have to keep calling until I got through. I sorta laughed and told him the 800# I just dialed got me direct access TWICE without wait and I asked him why Mexican nationals had such easier access to US Senators’ offices when US legal citizen constituents would just get a busy signal? I repeated it didn’t look good that a foreign government had access to their communications network and they were unaware of it. He just thanked me for my call and said goodby.
Sounds plausible to me, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were already an operative here...I'm still wondering why this post was taken out of the breaking news sidebar.
Gig ‘em!
I'm wondering the same - any clues, LM?
Seems that Chuck and Hilary are putting everyone into a queue.
I wondered why this was removed from Breaking News myself. I just got off the phone again from Isakson’s office—they called me. Again they wanted the name of this website. I told the aide that the consensus was that they didn’t need it. He said that he just wanted to get on the thread and reassure us re: our misgivings. Sounds worse than ever; he will NOT get the name of this site from me, period.
This weekend Rolling Thunder will be in D.C. and there will be parades and lots of tourists. It would be the perfect time to urge people to write and phone and give reasons why this bill must never pass.
I hope this thread will be placed in Breaking News.
