The boy is just a fantasy object, a fetish for two perverts and will likely never know who his father is...

Hey, I agree with you. I was just pointing out the hypocrisy. :-)

I know you were...

The most disgusting thing about this is how that baby boy is just a prop for a lurid sex fantasy between to perverts.

And some would chide others here for saying so??? Amazing how far down the sewer things have gone in this country...

Well, I don't about this. I think they probably just wanted to have a biological child. I just feel sorry for the child who will grow up knowing that the father was simply a "donor".

I think they probably just wanted to have a biological child.

Then the boy is just a fantasy object...

If you believe that everything that happens is part of Gods plan, then this is what God intended.

No, but he will have one hell of a grandfather. That will count for something.

And the poor kid doesn’t have a father. Nice. Way to go, Mary.

Well....those are great names. They denote strength and character to me whenever I hear them-unlike names such as Phinnaeus and Apple, for Pete’s(another good name!) sake.
Some people give more thought to what they’re going to name their pets than they do for naming their kids. Ridiculous!
By the way, my heterosexual neutered cat’s name is Rusty, and the heterosexual spayed femaile’s name is Penny.
I’m heterosexual and spayed,but just not a cat. :)

It will count for something, but having a lesbo mom is a big strike against you.

The real question is, who is this boy’s father?

Larry Birkhead?

OK, seriously now, there's one crucial difference between threads about this birth on Free Republic and on DU. Here, some knock Mary Cheney; there, all knock Dick Cheney; but there, most of them knock the child as well. He's been compared to that Damien creature from "The Omen" by more than one poster there.

I agree with you, the name Apple is absurd but the name Phineas always reminds me of A Separate Peace — great book! :-)

Judgement is reserved for Someone better than us.

As a matter of doctrine, this is not the case...

Only the power to condemn is denied us.

If you think this isn’t what’s been going on, you haven’t been reading the same posts I have.

People here frequently conflate the sin with the sinner. The former we may judge; the latter we may not.

None have the power to condemn.

All can judge.

Who is the father???

The boy will never know his real father...

Probobly not. But if this were a poor couple and split up later on, in some states the custodial mother could go after the sperm donor for child support.
