Mary Cheney gave birth today to perhaps the most anticipated baby in contemporary U.S. politics -- her first child, Samuel David Cheney, whom she will raise with her longtime partner Heather Poe.
The 8-pound, 6-ounce boy is the sixth grandchild for Dick Cheney.

So, you are the new Rosie O'Donnell wing of the GOP who equates the Christians with the Taliban???
That little baby boy is just a fantasy object, a fetish for two perverts to parade around...
I pity him...
P.S. I am an atheist, so spare the religion bashing.
Ah, I see you’re an anti-Catholic bigot. Nice mouth.
You are so right. This is the first time I have come across people defending homos in this forum. I think because before the gays in question were democrats. I have been called a hatemonger, terrorist, bigot, and ignorant among other things. I’m having a hard time with this. I don’t understand it.
Thank you beckysueb ...
It took me about an hour to write and I had to go back several times to try and clarify the point I was trying to make. I do feel that I may have come across as a bit sanctimonious in my delivery, but alas, I acknowledge that I am a sinner myself. Thank you again for your kind comments.
Take care and PEACE,

You wrote in Post 556:
“But of course, you will have the defenders in here splitting hairs and trying to tear down your excellent analysis.”
My reply would be “BRING EM ON!” The martyrs of the past and the present timeperiod have endured much, much worse with regard to being the recipients of persecution ... Jesus was the pinnacle of suffering for what he taught ... to the point of death upon the Cross. We need to humble ourselves and accept our own crosses to bear and to assist others who are struggling in carrying their crosses. (I elaborate a little further in my “About Me” Free Republic member info section ... just click on my alias).
Sooo ... if anyone out there wants to split hairs, lets get it on! (Insert wrestling announcer’s voice over a megaphone here: “ARE YOU READY TO RUUUUUUUMBLE?!”).
Peace out,

Thanks for the backup!
We don’t know what’s in her heart because only God can see what is in people’s hearts, why they do what they do, and what makes someone tick. And because we can’t see into anyone’s heart, it’s wrong for us to judge them. We can disagree with their actions (as some have done on this thread in a non-condemnatory way), but condemning them as a person (which many have done on this thread) is a non-starter. It’s not a cop out; it’s really fairly simple to understand, if you have any desire to understand it.
The Lord sayeth "Ye shall know them by the fruits of their labor."
No problemo beckysueb,
I have noticed that it seems as if the Free Republic website has been infiltrated by elements who don’t seem to subscribe to the tenents of what this site is all about. I first came to this site several years ago and participated in various forums, but quickly grew tired of all of the bickering. I then took a couple of years off from accessing the Free Republic Forums until the Virginia Tech massacre occurred last month (I was curious about what the intense response would be).
What really surprises me is the large influx of new Free Republic members who seem to be here only to agitate others with far left or liberal viewpoints ... I thought that this was a Conservative Issues Forum. I’m not a conspiracy theorist or a paranoid individual, but it seems like there is an infestation of some type going on.
(Front 242 moseys to the garage to get an industrial-size aerosol roach-killing fog bomb and drops it into the cyberworld of the Free Republic Forums). :)

I’ve noticed the same thing. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion. It just sort of amazed me that Freepers are no longer on the same page. And what is the worst is that anyone who tries to stand up for whats right or has a different view is called names and made to feel like a jerk. I took a break from FR for awhile, too, but I came in one day and got hooked all over again. I guess its time for another break. I just think that some people are so misguided and if we can touch even one person then we have done good.
I wholeheartedly agree with you and concur with regard to possibly trying to make contact or reach someone here on this forum on a personal level in order to make them “think” or to develop as an individual. I think that I might just be joining you on that Free Republic sabbatical. I think that I’ll head for the south island of New Zealand and become a monk / hermit. :)
Single women who resort to providing their child with a sperm donor for a "dad" truly cheat this innocent child.
The fact that some "on-the-scene" fathers (and sometimes mothers) deserve to be hung by their toes does not condone "sperm donor" fathers. Having a child by those means does nothing to help kids who have bad parents. It doesn't relate.
I've never met a person who does not judge others' behaviours.
For instance, your neighbor goes shopping while her little ones are down for a nap...alone in the house. Someone else gives their four-year-old the freedom to wander and play on other streets...alone. Nearby, some "brain-dead" person allows their dog to bark incessantly. Then we have those folks who thinks its okay if their dog thinks your yard is it's bathroom.
I could write pages; we all could. Judging is human nature. One would have to be created as a rock not to get frustrated, annoyed, and yes, judgemental.
I don't recall saying that. Some parents with young children sadly become widowed. Some get divorced, whether or not they wanted this; some take their children and leave abusive spouses. In effect, they become single people with children.
Who, in their right mind, would believe all of them should give away their children to a married man and woman? That's ludricous.
I respectfully suggest you're playing games with the facts by using a hypothetical situation.
