I am amazed at the number of FReepers who don’t know the second definition of “magazine”.

I just had a long
rant discussion with the secretary to my State Congresscritter,
Karen A. Yarbrough. I pointed out that it is underhanded and deceitful to disguise an anti-gun Bill as a child sexual exploitation Bill. I reminded her that such underhanded schemes can and will come back to haunt her in next year's election.
I asked that she withdraw from being a House Sponsor, and to vote NO when it does go to vote.
I think they are afraid to be completly open about their rabid anti-gun views . . .

Pick me!
"A building, room, or compartment designed for the safe storage of ammunition and explosives!"
What that has to do with libraries & periodicals, though, I haven't the least idea.

The city councils of both Pocatello and Chubbuck are populated with people who can't get the "good old days" of blue collar manufacturing off their minds. They won't make any effort to entice white collar employers. The railroad/union mindset is well entrenched. An arms manufacturing company would thrill them. Not to mention employing lots of talented machinists. Our big naval gun factory (FMC) is still standing. Idaho is a right to work state, so the company could set their own terms.

I just received an NRA-ILA announcement that the city council of LeClaire, Iowa has approved land for Les Baer Custom guns to relocated from Illinois after Illinois legislation was passed that bans many of Les Baer's products. Nothing like driving business out of your state with stupid legislation. I'll be Springfield is considering a similar action.
