As I noted last week, nothing good comes from banging an employee.
Wolfie lost his job, and the woman.
I love it when events demonstrate my point concisely.
It’s such a basic, fundamental rule of life: don’t sh*t where you eat. Wolfie, yer a putz, and you’ve proven it more than once, now. I don’t know, he strikes me as the kind of guy that would get along great in any politburo.
Never get your meat where you get your bread.
Or, as we used to say, "Don't stick your p&t&r in the payroll."
I met my wife when we both worked for the same company. We didn’t start dating until AFTER I left the company. I’ve seen things go bad too many times even when the couples are peers. It’s really bad when the boss is dating his administrative assistant!
Is Wolfie’s girl running at Belmont?
As I said at the time, never put your meat where your bread and butter is.
EXCUSE ME FOLKS - have you heard the REAL story about Mr. Wolfowitz - or just what the friendly MSM is telling you?
When his name was proposed for the World Bank, Mr. Wolfowitz pointed out to the Board of Directors that his girlfriend was an employee of the agency. SHE WORKED THERE -BEFORE- HE CAME ABOARD!
He pointed this out to the Board and said he should be recused from any personnel decisions involving the woman. She had just received a promotion and a raise, all it required was the signature of the President - Mr. W. He TRIED to recuse himself - the Board said OK, it’s not fair to deprive her of her raise, so let’s transfer her to a related agency not under Mr. W’s direct supervision. This was done - in accordance with the wishes of the Board.
THEN the Board charged Mr. Wolfowitz with misusing his position. Don’t you smell a setup here?
They just didn’t want the ‘neocon’ poking around their little fiefdom.
Far too many Freepers are falling for the media’s BS. This event demonstrates MY point concisely!
When the deep purple falls
Down sleepy garden walls
And the stars start to sparkle in the sky
In the mist of memory
You come drifting back to me
Breathing my name in a sigh...
Forty years ago when I had my first supervisory job, my old Oklahoma boss told me: "Don't get your meat and potatos at the same place."
He was correct.
Can anybody say “set-up”? You know the World Bank didn’t want PW anymore than the UN wanted Bolton or anyone else Bush picks. It wouldn’t surprise me if his galpal was doing some “undercover” work for the opposition.
