It's like being in prison. That's how some detainees describe the conditions at the Willacy Detention Center.
Action 4 News has received various calls about the conditions inside the Willacy Detention Center where most 'Other-Than-Mexicans' are held before deportation.
The detention center in Raymondville is part of a Secure Border Initiative according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. They tell Action 4 News it was built to end the "Catch-and-Release" program.
"As mandated by Congress, as we're getting them in custody we're removing them as quickly as possible" said Nina Pruneda a spokesperson for I.C.E.

I thought they were prisons with another name. What did they expect, they broke the law!

These folks have the same relationship with reality as the average liberal.

I wonder how the native countries of these people treats their illegals. Likely, “like being in prison”.

Shocking! How dare they treat these people like criminals, just because they’re breaking the law.

“It’s like being in prison.”
That’s what happens when you break the law.
To: TejanoJim
. . . conditions inside the Willacy Detention Center where most 'Other-Than-Mexicans' are held before deportation. My question is why do Mexicans get special treatment? They broke the same law as the OTMs.
Oh, yeah. I forgot, GWB considers us the same country.

Well, yes, I could see the similarity.
But to reiterate, what part of “illegal” don’t you understand?
And they aren’t even serving a sentence, they are being “detained”.

It sounds better than a lot of refuge camps around the world. Entering the United States without legal documentation IS a crime. Sorry, they will get no pity from me.

Treating illegals like they are illegal. Sorry, no sympathy from me. Just shuffle your rearendo back to Mexico. Hasta la vista baby!

Mexicans are taken to the border and booted back across. Figuratively, of course.
With OTMs, we can’t just repatriate them. We have to negotiate with their home country to take them back.
