It may well become necessary to destroy the Republican Party in order to save it.

Sam Browmback thinks immigration means “openess” and that the immigrants who overrun KS will vote for him out of gratitutde. How fooled he will be!

‘lol....If he actually said this, it’s now one of my top 10 favorite quotes.’

Believe it, he doesn’t mince words.

Yep, he was one of the original signatories to the first Amnesty before the 2006 election. Now, after getting flamed by us, his "supporters" and deciding to the the "conservative, pro-life '08 Presidential candidate" he refused to vote NO on cloture (which would have effectively shut down any further action on the bill.

The Pro-Bush bill in the Senate needed 60 yes votes, to go forth!!! Roberts voted NO, Brownback YES!

We have to get a true conservative. We can’t get one like Bush who caves to the liberals and media. He hasn’t caved on everything, but has been on the other side too many times.

"I promised the President today that I wouldn't say anything bad about ... this piece of [excrement] bill," he said, according to two attendees.

Screw the President. He's betraying the country by enabling an invasion. Anyone who shuts up about it just because the President asked them to is complicit in that betrayal. Boehner was right to call the amnesty legislation precisely what it is, but he shouldn't hold back at all. He needs to expose any and all pressure that the President has applied while condemning, in no uncertain terms, this latest amnesty atrocity.

Maybe it’s time to talk recalls.

Unfortunately, it appears we Georgians don’t have grounds to recall our treasonous weasels, but 43 states can recall for any reason.

I like Boehner's candor!!

Candor to a private closed door meeting of political hacks is one thing. What about candor to the AMERICAN PEOPLE? No, he doesn't have the fortitude to come out, publicly, and tell the American electorate, his constituents, that they are being sold out by their slimy "leaders".

WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!

Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them.

STOP AMNESTY NOW!! WE CAN DO IT!!

The best way to stop Shamnesty

House Minority Leader John Boehner, speaking to a private gathering of Republican activists last night, called the Senate's immigration compromise bill a "piece of [excrement]" but said that he had promised President Bush earlier in the day that he would let his teeth be a barrier to such thoughts in public.

He's merely posturing so he can appear to be on the right side of this issue to his constituents back home.

Privately, they're all on-board. (Immigration vote stirs concern about Boehner)

Mr. Blunt, the acting House majority leader, voted for last month's crackdown on illegal immigration and a 2004 amendment that said local law-enforcement officials should be allowed to report illegal aliens to federal authorities. He also voted against a 2002 bill that was termed a mini-amnesty for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens under Section 245(i) of the immigration code.

Mr. Boehner voted the opposite way each time, to the chagrin of those seeking more limits on immigration. "I know how he feels about the issue -- he is absolutely opposed to what we are trying to accomplish," said Rep. Tom Tancredo, Colorado Republican and the leader of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus.

Do you really believe he's not pro-illegal alien or are you just carrying his water here?

Still carrying Bush's water, I see. (Immigration vote stirs concern about Boehner)

It was ever thus.

Stick to LP, where the kooks like yourself are at home.

And I’m not happy with the President, you know this is fact, so why come into this forum and lie?

Thats another trait of LP these days. Run along, wacko.
